A lifetime in driving
- I am a fully qualified Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Approved Driving instructor (ADI). On my last 'check test' I achieved a Grade A.
- I have achieved the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Fleet Driver Trainer (Category B Vehicles) certificate.
- I have been checked by the Disclosure & Barring Service and have an Enhanced Certificate (Full disclosure, I am CRB checked) .
- I have achieved 6 passes at Gold level for RoSPA, (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) a standard that is checked by an independent RoSPA accredited driving examiner every 3 years. This means that for the last 18 years, I have achieved a consistently high standard of driving.
- I have worked for the Police service as a civilian driver trainer for eight years which involved teaching police officers the correct way to respond to emergency calls on the road using the principles of Roadcraft.
